Medi-Weight Loss Clinics...glorified Kimkins?

Is Medi-Weight Loss Clinic a glorified Kimkins?

" It utilizes a low carb, low fat, low calorie diet, along with supplements, medication, and weekly visits."

"I followed the 400 to 500 calories of protein they recommended for the first week, and had eggs, chicken, ground beef, tuna, salmon, and crab throughout the week."

"On MWL we are super low carb! We are also sugar free, gluten free, starch free and so on and so forth.... That means we only eat meat and lean meat at that! No breads or dairy, they recommend no fruits, very little veggies, and no additives. I think I speak for a lot on this diet that we do use additives such as herbs to try and enhance the flavor of our food but it's not necessarily allowed."

No, I'm not MIA! Trying to get focused.

I'm back on my trainer's plan of eating more protein, healthier food, and trying his best tricks to stop myself from binging. I have discovered one way to stop and it is called "shut off the TV and get out of the house". I want desperately to get back on track with my eating and to prove to my trainer and myself that I CAN DO IT AGAIN!!

It is back to basics. I see my trainer again on Wednesday. Wish me luck!
